Powerful New Book Will Help Readers Succeed . . .
If They Intend to Succeed
As kids, we all believed in superheroes, and most of us secretly believed that someday, our own superpowers would arrive. Like a young Clark Kent, we believed we could fly—if not now, then soon. As we grew, unfortunately, reality stepped in, and—losing that belief, proclaiming “I’m only human”—most of us became grounded, limited in what we could do to those things we could see, hear, and feel with our own senses.
But in my new book, Discover Your Superpowers: The Key to Unlocking Your True Potential, published January 2019 by Your True Potential Press, I demonstrate that there really is an alternative, if only we have the courage to reach out for it.
Even as adults, we all have our own “superpowers.” These are things we excel at, often without even trying. In order to succeed, as I point out in Discover Your Superpowers, we are each challenged to use those superpowers in our daily lives. But, as my book says, we can do this only once we again believe in ourselves, as we did when, as children, we KNEW we had superpowers, just waiting to appear.
I always knew writing and publishing this book, and providing to readers the support that comes with it, is what I wanted to do—to help young women and others overcome their own inner obstacles . . . and succeed. However, since beginning the book, I realized that this book was just as applicable to a man in his mid-sixties as to a woman in her mid-twenties. I admit it—I got distracted for a season—but with this book, journal, workbook, and coaching courses, I’ve now circled back to my own life goal, manifesting my own superpower as a guide, here to help others find their own superpowers and help them reach their true potential.
Going back a few years, this project started as a speech, then grew to a book. Since then it has become a journal, a workbook, and continues to evolve into other tools, some still in the developmental stage that will help readers achieve their own true potential. Now I’m busy sharing personal stories about my road to reaching my own potential, and how that applies to my readers. Along the way, I’ve discovered that things happen for a reason, and there aren’t many true coincidences.
Bottom line: I’ve learned to trust the process, and so should you.
We all have superpowers that are specific to us—but we must find our own superpowers before we can use them. When we find them, we must nurture them. As my readers find their superpowers, they also need to identify and avoid their own particular kryptonite. They need to understand the role of love and compassion, law of giving and receiving, self-love, understanding the power of manifestation, the importance of their network, trusting the process, gut instinct, and turning bad into good.
In this journey of personal growth, not everything will be smooth sailing. Given half a chance, life is going to come after each of us. However, it’s what we do to avoid—or ride out—the storms, then clean up the damage and move forward that helps define how well each of us can use our superpowers.
In this search, we must calm ourselves—that is a critical part of the process—before we begin our big pushes. I learned to do this in my own life, so I know it can be done. What each of us will be doing is part of the process, and when we work the process, there are no coincidences.
This is the theme of my dynamic new just-published book, Discover Your Superpowers: The Key to Unlocking Your True Potential, published earlier January 2019 by Your True Potential Press.
As the basis for this ground-breaking new book, I am the CEO of Your True Potential. There, my team of human potential experts and I work with clients, helping them achieve their full potential in their careers, in their families, and in their lives.
I wrote this book to help others grasp, at one sitting, the significance of their abilities to change lives, starting with their own. While I treasure the opportunity of working with people one-on-one—few things give me more satisfaction—I realized that the only way I could reach tens of thousands of people was to put my ideas out there in Discover Your Superpowers. In this way, anyone who wants to grow their own superpowers can learn what I’ve learned. In this way, I help them to grow from what I have to teach. The core teachings in my new book are exactly what I offer my clients, but in a boiled-down, sharply-focused presentation.
Discover Your Superpowers: The Key to Unlocking Your True Potential is available from Amazon in both print and Kindle formats; it is also available at Barnes & Noble and other bookstores.
About Me, Tamara Paul
I am a Columbus, Ohio-based personal life and health coach consultant and author who uses my new book to help others understand what I’ve already learned. We all have abilities—superpowers, if you will—that set us apart from others . . . but only if each of us believes in ourselves and our powers to change lives for the better.
