How do you work with people who want more one-on-one depth than any book can offer?
The companion guides to the book include both the journal, Diary of a Superhero, and the workbook, Work Your Way to Your True Potential™. These are both guides to help you take your journey further. Additionally, these courses will take you to another level of success.

Where do you see this book going?
I plan to produce additional courses and resources, and I plan to develop life coaches to have enough information to support those who need help working toward their true potential. I want to do all I can to help those eager to learn to actually grasp the lessons we share in this book, and in […]

What advice do you have for aspiring how-to writers who want to share their own life lessons?
Start writing down what’s coming to you, using a notepad or a notes app on your phone. Take your time. I had years of papers I pulled out to add to my book.

Did you run into any specific writing challenges in writing this book?
There are times when fear or self-doubt would get into the way. During these times, I would put the book down for 48 hours and give myself time to work through the fear. But as far as the messages . . . they flowed and kept coming. It was magical.

How long did it take you to write this book?
Five months, from my decision to start writing until final editing. I was able to accomplish this by focusing on writing, staying the course, and not allowing any of my personal kryptonite get in the way of my book.

You speak of life’s storms, of riding them out and rebuilding them. Is this a core tenet of your book, and if so, what advice do you offer to the storm-riders among us?

You take a dim, or should I say skeptical, view of coincidences. Can you explain how that’s central to your thesis?
We don’t meet anyone by chance . . . Things don’t just happen by chance. Good or bad, everything happens for a reason. It’s up to us to accept that without judgment, to move past what others consider coincidence, learning from what those non-coincidences have to offer us.

What should people do once they identify their own personal vulnerabilities?
First, accept that you have the kryptonite. Next, deal with it or release it. Take action. Don’t ever let your personal kryptonite control you.

How should people seek out their own kryptonite?
Identify the kryptonite (person, place or thing that holds you back) by looking at commonalities in the problems that plague their lives. Some people fear success—while some fear failure. Some are afraid of speaking in public, while others are just uncomfortable in crowds. Each of us has our own limitations— and those are each of […]

The idea of each of us having superpowers is fascinating. How did you come up with this idea?
It came to me while I was watching my children while they watched a superhero movie. An inner voice told me that each one of them is a superhero, but didn’t yet know it.
